That was hilarious! And, considering what happened to the resting place of nearly all the pharoahs, Harry was right on the money. But now I'm left wondering: does it really taste like chicken?

Very, very funny. And I think that Voldemort could be that stupid.

Oh dear! *chuckles* Good one!

(May I point out one thing, though? There are only six Horcruxes, the seventh part of Voldemort's soul still residing in his body.)

This is the stuff that fan fiction is all about. Thanks

I wish it would be that easy for Harry, then the rest of book 7 could be spent getting on with his life (after he takes care of 2 'snakes').

Thanks for writing it.

ROFL!! :) That was great. :) hehehe. I totally got blindsided by Harry finding the other Founder items. Way to go. :) ...And you referenced the Evil Overlord List *cheer*... I'm so gonna start "spotting" that in these fics now; maybe I should keep track ;) hahahah. Excellent, most excellent.

JK did say that the last book would be shorter. While this may not be just what she had in mind, there is a definte logic!

And there are only a couple of decent pawnshops in the entire wizarding community,
LOL!

The sad part is this actually makes more sense then canon.

Very nice, I always like anything that references the Evil Overlord list. I think you might have had one Horcrux too many there though. There should be six horcruxes total, with the seventh piece of soul residing in Tom.

1. Tom's diary (destroyed)
2. Slytherin's Ring (destroyed)
3. Slytherin's Locket (missing, presumed either in Grimwauld Place or plundered by Mungdungus (sp?))
4. Nagini (presumed by Dumbledore)
5. The Cup of Hufflepuff (acquired by Tom same time as Locket, presumed to be a Horcrux)
6. Something of either Ravenclaws or Gryffindors (presumed, theororized by Dumbledore based on Tom's obsession with Hogwarts).

This is why I'm not an author. I'd write something like this, have Harry smack Voldemort in chapter two of the book (book 7 that is). And then proceed with the "Harry Potter and the Normal School Year" story, wherein lots of normalcy happens (chasing girls, playing games, planning for the future, having a dance or two, all that stuff). Oh I suppose a bit of randome DE rounding up could help liven up the story too...

Like /chicken/?!? XD

A nice little concept & story, Dorothy. The Dark Lord defeated by the inability of the Wizarding World to resist anything that looks remotely valuable that has been left well-guarded. And Borgin's monopoly works against him too!

Thanks for sharing that with us. A lovely little comedic piece.
