I did not see that coming. Excellent story line. It was very well written and well thought out. The review of charactors was good although I think you may have been slightly a bit off on Ginny. I don't think she would have wanted him to go off and fight, although it is true she did not fight to stay at his side when he did leave. I hope to be reading more of your work soon. I found it very entertaining.

The tastes or Remus don't surprise me.

As soon as I read the title, I knew who *I* would choose - although I wasn't actually thinking "mates" - just a lifelong, loyal friendship, one that would go on for the length of Harry's life.
