just decided to reread this one on a lark and was so incrediably amused that I thought I'd be good and give a review. as I already said, this gave me an incredible giggle. it really is a nice, fun, and highly amuseing story. _But_ there is one small alteration I'da made to it. as opposed to a lil black&white kitten, I'da made it a lil ginger tom... and yes there IS reason for that and I'll let anyone who reads the review guess as to what that reason is.

I've somehow missed several of your stories, so I'll be catching up with them over the next few days. This one was short so I took a break and read it.

I like it - a lot, but I can't exactly put my finger on it as to why. It's well crafted and tight. Harry is the hero and very powerful - 6.0 on a 4.0 scale - which always is great in my book. Draco fails - can't help but love that.

Somehow I think you're gently poking fun at a lot of fanfic readers and writers and I just don't get it fully. Maybe I'm wrong, but...

Anyway, nice work.

Glad you liked it!   I was just playing with the idea of Super!Harry (and Super!Nice!Harry who rescues kittens) and wondering what would happen if the Powers That Be insisted he take his NEWTs even though he was clearly overqualified and if everything magical had heard of his reputation.   It started with the idea of all the monsters running away from him and went from there.   It also came out of the same spurt of insanity that produced "HP and the Giant Squid" (both written the same day), so don't try to analyze it too hard ... :D
