Your right how scarry abracadabra is closely related to avada kevada......wonder if that's where Rowling got the idea....sick thought isn't it.

This is absolutely brilliant. Very original idea, nice characterisations, and a wonderfully amusing narrative style that leaves me helplessly clicking the 'next' button in a pathetic attempt to get more... Very much looking forward to the next chapter.

Loved the bit about the carolers. Nice way to tie
it all in together. I like the idea that the town
is on the Adam's side in that case.

Excellent work.

Poor Dumbledore. Everybody seems bound and determined to get in the way of his plan to save Harry.

After all, as long as the blood ward created by Harry's mother remains in effect Voldemort cannot kill Harry. Similarly, as long as Trelawney's prophecy remains in effect nobody but Voldemort can kill Harry. Thus, Harry is currently virtually immortal; which is a good thing when the person that he has been prophesized to one day battle to the death is also apparently immortal.

Although Dumbledore is completely wrong about the effect on the blood wards of being with the Addams', it is easy to understand why the man is so desperate.

Another outstanding chapter. I especially love the part about the children "arranging black candles, writing runes and leaving a sacrifice" at the Satanists hang out and being disappointed they never came back! ROFLMAO.

I can't wait for the next chapter. You have totally nailed all of the characters. Great plot, great dialog and wonderfully crazy characters.

Thanks!!

Ooh, I can't wait until your next update! Will Harry, Wednesday, and Pugsley be going to Hogwarts? I sure hope so. It'll be really cool to see how things are different. But then again, Dumbledore might try something...

Great Story, You humanize the Adams Family where their outlook in life is just above normal. Can't wait till they arrive at Hogwarts and meet Luna.

This fic is just so much fun. The accidental discovery the Killing Curse was well done. I'm not surprised one of them stumbled on to it. Abracadabra is very close to Avada Kedavra. Loved the way Harry was so pro-active in the dream rather than a passive viewer. The kick to the shin made snicker.

Looks like the three kids are going to be as familiar with magic and spells as any well-to-do pureblood. I thought the solemn promise between Harry and Wednesday was amusingly cute and perfectly in character with their age.

Christmas at the Addams...that thought alone is both fun and slightly disturbing. Seems Wednesday's morbid side has made a firm appearance.

I actually pity Dumbledor...I think he really should have worked harder at finding out what 'strike two' means; I think he just might be in for a whole world of hurt and embarrassment *grins evilly*. Can't wait to see it!

I'm looking forward to more, particularly when the three get to go to Hogwarts. Slytherin is going to be rather shaken and disturbed by them.

I'm certainly loving this story, and I'm curious as to where the kids are going to end up Sorted. Pugsley seems to be either a Hufflepuff or a Gryffindor, while Wednesday strikes me as Ravenclaw material, and who only knows how Harry's upbringing is going to change how the Hat views him.

The only quibble I've got so far is that the Lake Monsters didn't exist as a team until 1994, and weren't called the Lake Monsters until last year (though they've had the guy in the green Champ mascot suit since the beginning). I'm certainly glad to see my hometown team mentioned, though.   I'

If I can rearrange the geography of New Jersey, I can backdate the formation of a team with a cool name.   I'm sure Harry would be a fan of the Lake Monsters if they had existed then.   If my husband and I ever get up to Vermont, we're going to make sure we go to a game just to say we rooted for the Monsters.   I love that I'm from a state that has an official state monster: the Jersey Devil.   I think all states should have their own monsters.

this is a riot and has become one of my new favorite stories. the exposition seems to be working few and the few wry comments re wednesday/harry (e.g. the "dueling" response) are nicely done. i guess we really don't have to worry about ginevra anymore! perhaps it's premature, but i personally would like to see more interaction by the "kids." regardless, keep up the good work.

I adore the idea of Hocus pocus being a vanishing spell. I also love the kids practicing Satanism well enough to scare off the Satanists. The Avada Kedavra section was chilling. More please. Excellent chapter. I'm sure that the final sentence bodes badly for Dumbledore and well for us readers.

Very nice, Dorothy. I like seeing a Harry growing up happy (or at least as happy as his sublimated memories allow).

Leave it to Pugsley to accidentally discover the Killing Curse and trigger Harry's memories of that night.

And apparently, Dumble-dork didn't learn his lesson (sounds like they need a new Muggle Studies teacher if he/she doen't know the meaning of "Strike Two!).

I really enjoy your characterization of the Addams family in this story. Especially Pugsley, who it is nice to see as an intelligent character like in the earlier series, as opposed to his movie counterpart who was a happy go lucky, dim-witted idiot.

Thank you for writing. It is the highlight of my day to see a new chapter posted to the website.

Great chapter, I can't wait to read Dumbledore's reaction and more about them growing up. I like the story.
