Oh, I enjoyed this, especially the interaction with Snape! I really look forward to the Sorting now. I bet they all lose, and Harry ends up in Slytherin. They should all have to pay Harry if he does!

I don't normally review, but I have to. I'm with Remus and Sirius. I can't wait to see Severus' face when he realizes his fan is Harry Potter!

good chapter , im glad he is ready for hogworts, i do think you should have added all the names of the books he got in the store both requierd and all the extra books,
i do think you went a bit far with the meeting with snape.
please try and not make him to nieve that will ruin the story, .
maybe it shpoudl be listed of every thing he been learning like the core classes , potions charms history and so on, pluse extra stuff like laws , mind magic , maybe even parsoltounge magic if he even knows he can do it or not it be a good idea for that.

Fantastic part of a great story. Despite all the changes you've made, the characters, especially the adult charaters, ring true.

Interesting progression. I'm intrigued as to what the end-scenario is intended to be with such a diversion from existing stories.
The Philosopher's stone is still in the equation, yet Harry has parent-figures to tell about it that are more likely to listen to him. It's going to be difficult for Harry to assume Snape is the bad guy initially here, too.
How much of an antagonist is Draco going to be this time? He hasn't changed from canon, and Harry's reaction is similar, so unless things change significantly, I assume he and Harery aren't going to be friends.

Marvelous. This is a fun puzzle you've set here; I'm enjoying watching it work itself out.
Can Peter still transform to a rat? I wonder if he's even tried since he crossed over.
Harry's likely to get in thick with the House-Elves at Hogwarts. Maybe he'll get a further education into their magic alongside his Wizarding one. Being able to pop is bound to be dead useful to a Marauder. Good thing some of the Potter elves have learned their letters, since Peter'll need their help to correspond with Harry while he's away at Hogwarts, unless he can manifest at Hogwarts when Harry's there.
This is fun. Please do carry on.

Great chapter, as always.
I like how you made Harry perfect for Hufflepuff (coz that's where he's going, right? Hardworking, 'good to all animals' and loyal, that's him). There are not that many stories with Harry as a Hufflepuff and in the one that do put him there, he's usually just a Slytherin under disguise. Excellent idea!
I also liked your Dumbledore pushing towards manipulative side. It's only normal for him to feel wary of Harry since he wasn't the one that controled his upbringing. Hm... maybe he could start suspecting that Harry intentionally went to Hufflepuff only to hide his true motives? I would imagine him growing extremely paranoid of powerful students' allegiances after he let Ridley slip through his fingers.
Scene with Snape was brilliant too, great idea.
I didn't like how you just copied somed parts of PS, like Hagrid picking up the stone, or meeting Malfoy at the robe shop. I hope you somewhat change things once Harry is at Hogwarts, coz it would be really lame to read all the familiar scenes again (flying class, the mirror, duel, Fluffy, the troll etc), only from slightly different angle. There are simply so many authors doing things like that, that I feel like I've read PS 50 times already. Yes, it's a great book and all, but enough is enough...
Anyway, keep going, I can hardly wait for the next chapter.

Thanks for the wonderful Christmas present! What is Snape going to think when he properly meets Harry? "Potter, what are you reading?" "Your book." Snape looks at the book, sees his autograph, and says, "Good Lord." hehehehehehehe

Thanks Dorothy, for one of the best Christmas presents I'll expect to get. Harry's day in Diagon Alley was exceptional. I was wondering how Peter would someday bring up his betrayal, especially when Harry would be meeting the other Marauders. Now I know he'll put it off as long as he can. The thing is, you can't help feel sorry for the poor ghost. Yes he buckled under pressure from Voldemort and is responsible for the death of Harry's parents, but it is something he's agonized over every day since. Well, gotto stop. I have some cookies to bake.

Yay. I really enjoyed this chapter. I like the reaction to Snape, as it really emphasizes the different upbringing Harry has had under Peter and the house elves.
I'm really hoping this story continues for quite a while... it seems to just keep getting better.

A Harry that is looking forward to....*Potions*? And even MORE surprisingly....to *SNAPE*? (I'm surprised that Sirius didn't lose his lunch seeing Harry request Snape's autograph!) Severus is going to have Mucho Problems giving his report to Dumbledore with a straight face, mostly because he is going to endure Major Teasing...

GREAT CHAPTER! I really liked the scene with Snape. Wonder how Harry and Sanpe's relationship will be different with Sanpe having to endure the fame he thought Harry enjoyed in canon.

Oh wow, that was a first encounter between Harry and Snape that I would have never imagined! And yet it made me smile, Harry was that cute...getting Snape's autograph, heheh...Finally heading to Hogwarts, can't wait to see what machinations Dumbledore has in mind, or how the Sorting will go. Please update soon, I love this story! ^_^
