First off, great story, I enjoyed it all. But that ending! <ROFL!!!> I just loved the Post Owl Rebellion! <g> Nice to see Harry changed into an owl rather than Hedwig becoming human too. Thanks for posting this!

Lovely little ficlet. Very amusing. And while I'm writing this, I'll take the time to encourage you to continue Family Values. You have a great deal of support for that story, even at DLP.

Very cute and funny ending, but your rundown of the list of "possibles" is sadly too true at its core. Harry has been treated like crap by everyone, and I don't think there CAN be a happily ever after in the wizarding world for him-he'd be better off living as a muggle.

I had an Idea where this was going too, but in my head:

Pop. And in place of the beautiful Snowy White owl, now sat a beautiful woman of about Harry's age, with snow white hair.

Gods this is great, had an idea of where you were taking this after the part with Ginny but the ending blind sided me. Well done.

woah. I simply don't know what to say. I am torn between snickering helplessly and shaking my head in awe of your twisted imagination.

HA! That's a good one!

Hedwig has been Harry's most loyal companion of all, hasn't she?

Bellatrix_vecours posted a comment on Tuesday 13th February 2007 1:36pm

OMG WTF LOL! Hedwig finally got hers. I figured it out about the time she attacked Ginny but still.... Good story.

Wonderful! I saw it coming and I still laughed hysterically! Thank you for writing!

Sarcastic, amazing, and all of it stuff I've thought at one time or another. And I'm a huge fan of Hedwig -- I've got some fic ideas for her, too, though nothing quite so spectacular.

Anyway, this was fun (despite the underlying angst) to read. Especially the last few paragraphs, which should be put in the Great Quotes Hall of Fame.

Thanks for writing!

P.S. Do you think we might be getting a "Family Values" update anytime soon?

i am tempted to send you the bill for a new monitor, your story was so funny that i spit out the drink i was working onto my new LCD 20 inch.

thanx, that was one of the best oddball stories i have read from the HP universe.

in a sense you are right, only one player in the HP universe has been loyal to Harry thru the whole thing, Hedwig. that is why i say Harry's animagus form is an owl, not a stag.

and thanx again.

I know they make skins to keep people from spilling things into their keyboard.   They really ought to make something for monitors, too.

Thanks for the compliment!

Okay; well; that was.... unexpected *GRIN*

Nice one; and I really hope this means you are back to writing; I really want to see what happens next in Fidelus; and Family Values; as well as the Harry after the death of Voldemort story (sorry; I don't remember the name off hand)
