Good chapter.

Part with the veil was interesting and original enough, even though I don't see what that had to do with the main plot. If Sirius found Peter with the Weasleys and made him tell him the secret, that would have made sense, but this way... Eh, never mind, I trust you know what you're doing. And it was fun to read nevertheless...

The second part was (even) better. You handled Peter's return nicely, as well as the reason why Harry should stay living with the elves. I'm not quite sure about telling Dumbledore about Harry, though... I don't think he would just let someone as important as Harry to be raised outside of his sphere of influence. But of course, that could simlpy be my Manipulative!Dumbledore fetish speaking for me...

Anyway, hurry up with the next chappy, I'm hopelessly hooked on this one.

Oh, I was quite surprised by Peter's ghost returning back to Godrics Hollow, is it the Fidelius that binds him back there even after death? Peter teaching Harry magic and becoming a surrogate uncle, I can't wait to see how that turns out. Excellent chapter!

I've been waiting for this for almost two weeks! Your story and your husbands have become more appealing to me than even SOB.

So Peter is now going to be Harry's tutor, excelent. I guess in a way he is trying to atone for what he's done. I guess that's the only way he'll ever find peace.

Does Sirius know that Peter was the traitor? After all, the only thing he saw was Peter's ghost and he was waking up from a nightmare about the other dimensions Peter betraying the Potters.

Puh Puh Puh Please update soon!

This is great. I hope that Peter will redeem himself by the end of the book. Can a mistake that one makes while young can be forgiven by a lifetime of good deeds? Only time and you will be able to tell. Thanks for this and post soon.

Ooooooo...good chapter.

Nice way of having Peter atone for his crimes. And as far as being a bound ghost goes, it looks like he is getting a much better deal than he expected. Not too many ghosts can enjoy their haunts like this. Plus you have made him smart enough to get a little introspective and realize that he was wrong and want to make ammends.

YAY! New Chapter!

I'm a bit suprised that Peter is taking care of Harry now, but I suppose it makes some sense.

I have to wonder what Remus, Sirius, and Dumbledore's reactions will be.

It's going to take Nanny a while to get things smoothed out with Harry? When will Sirius and Remus reenter Harry's life? Will Peter tell them where Harry is? Sort of ironic that Peter got buried in a "Potters field".

I'm not sure what your worried about, your writing is fine.

I've never thought of Peter being lured step by step (using self-denial)into the service of Voldemort. That is a very original way of doing it.

I would have thought James would have gotten off more than one curse before being disarmed, especially if he has survived three prior encounters.

Very interesting effects in this chapter. It'll be instructive to see if Peter can interact with the elves and young Harry, let alone those looking for Harry.

I'm quite enjoying this story.

Sorry for the double review.

Is Harry going to get into Hufflepuff? *blinks rapidly*

What can Peter do to help him? Teach him Wizarding ways hopefully? Please? Harry the house elf may be fun for a while but it'll become humilating later ...

Hm. I hope Harry isn't going to act like a House Elf in public. That would be outrageous. Maybe okay when he was a kid, but common sense kicks in somewhere, right?

I don't mind him being capable of elf magic though. ;-)

Simply great :)
I love this AU, no continuity mix-ups and so well written, it simply draws me in.

Great story,
keep upp the good work.

Opinions are like assholes.
Everyone has one - but some just smell worse than others.

Aaargh! What do you mean, it held?!?! He's dead already...Grrr. Cruel.
I guess I'll just have to shut up and wait for the next chapter, eh? Growling and grumbling won't get it out any sooner...I s'pose I could get my own NaNoWriMo count up a bit before I run out of time...

So Harry can apparate like a house elf, does that mean he'll be able to do it inside Hogwarts? I can't wait to see how he interacts with people when he finally gets his letter and attends school. it should be almost as interesting as how the wizarding world will respond to house elves acting like 'big people'.

Sirius looks to be headed into the department of mysteries. I'm not really sure where you're going with that, but at least he may find direction again.

Remus may end up as a successful writer and a 'witch'. I had suspected that's what she'd ment when Mrs. Weaver had said what she did. I laughed so hard i nearly fell out of my chair when Remus found the witchcraft books.

Severus a hero?!?!

Ah, and poor Peter..

Severus getting fanmail?!?!?!

Wormtail's life truely ended when he betrayed his friends, it just took a few years to catch up with him...

MARRIAGE PROPOSALS!?!?!?!?

So Peter's ghost is headed back to england, to the Dower Estate. Will he haunt just the estate or follow Harry?

HIS HAIR IS CLEAN?!?!?!?!?!

So many questions to be answered, and likely a week to wait at least for the answers.

WEARING COLORS!?!?!?!?! (faints dead away)

update soon

Fascinating story thus far. Wondering very much what you're going to do when Harry gets to Hogwarts; how he'll interact with Hermione & Ron, if you even let him. As a submissive house-elf maybe he'll kowtow to Draco and end up in Slytherin or Hufflepuff?

In any case, very interesting story, looking forward to see where you go with it next. Thanks for writing it thus far!

Hmm, so that means that, in the next chapter, the Fidelus charm SHOULD break? I truly hope so - I wonder why, if he's already gone so far as to keep on the move, Peter has done the honorable thing yet? (depending on the culture one lives in, that could vary from turning one's self in to preforming seppiku) More, soon, please.

Brilliant Story. I love where you are going with it, can't wait till we get to see Harry grow up more :)
