Oooh... Harry elf-popped... was this done in protecting himself from getting hurt or from achieving 'ANOTHER' Lady Fair when he inadvertantly does his 'people-saving thing' that we know that he has buried somewhere deep inside...
I would love to hear or see the entire list of the House Elf Rule of Tasks... sounds a bit like the Ferengi Rules of Acquistion... *grin*
As Always,
Muirnin - who just finished reading AYLNO also and am amazed!

I meant to ask if you had been giving a nod to Copperbadge's "Stealing Harry" with the stuffed frog... but I see now that there is the author's note!
I'm curious about something... I now it's silly, but we have seen the Ravenclaw Ghost reading a book and turning pages... (in CoS) and I wondered if perhaps that was an ability that a Ghost could have... you know like floating objects etc.... Just a thought...
As You can see I am making my way through this story again (Procrastination!!!) and since both of my brilliant babes are asleep now I may get my reading done faster...
Great Chapter...
As Always,
Muirnin - an imaginative mind is a terrible thing to waste...

Just a quick note if you really want to keep as canon with out being canon as possible... hows that for an oxymoron... the Black Family tree that JKR herself created is located at http://www.hp-lexicon.org/images/blackfamilytrees/official-final-version.gif
It gives Sirius's mom's name as Walburga rather than Lavinia... it's a great piece of work... it even references the other pureblood family relations and HOW they are related to the Black line...
Ishtar replied:
I am aware of the Black Family tree. It hadn't been released yet at the time this chapter was written. At some point, I might go back and correct her name, note Sirius' relationship to Harry, and correct the degree of relationship to Arthur. I have a ton of other minor corrections to make to early chapters anyway.

An excellent addition to your story. Thank you for the quality of work you produce.

I think the part I liked was when you had Cold Moldiewart theorize that if the secret keeper dies that the secret dies with them... from JKR's website we find that to be true... once under fidelius always under fidelius until the secret is revealed... That is one area that I would love to see JKR give more details in regards to... if she does do that HP encyclopedia that she pondered about...
As Always,
Muirnin - who's still procrastinating... and wishing that there was a Fidelius charm against manipulative relatives...

Goodie... another chapter down towards the new chapter... Ok, I am NOT that slow of reader but I did have to take time out to read the new one that Keith and Herman have collaborated on! *LOL*(So I could devote more time to reading this!)
I think on multiple readings, I find more things I like about this story... the fact that you give such detail into what all Peter did for Remus on the Marauder Project and then how he ended up being contacted by Cold Moldiewart and how he ended up spying... it really adds more to the whole mystery about the way things were done in Canon... but then you know my motto... Damn the Canon... (*grin* I won't go further since it would definitely go into the Harmony phase of my statements!)
As Always,
Muirnin - Who has Blot Punnies going through her head about 4 baby kneazles being brought to Harry by Hedwig!!!

A wonderful update! I loved the interaction between Sirius and Snape, and Snape's rather ingenious plan of revenge.
The quidditch match was quite exciting and now I'm anxious to read more.

The life debt thing was kinda cheesy.. that and it grated my nerves but whatever... and the Quidditch just seemed like filler.
Actually its almost like reading Sorcerers Stone Again.. I suggest making new events happen.
Other then that it was a good chapter.
