This is completely fantastic! I am in love with your story premise and can't wait to see how Harry is going to end up like.

This is one of the most unique crossovers I've ever encountered. I love it! Please, update this very, very soon!

I love this story! I was beginning to lose all hope of finding another Harry Potter fic to follow, since there seems to be a major shortage of good new fics in the HP fandom. Can't wait for the next chapter!

LOL!!! Delightful story. Delightful! What's next?!?!? Will Harry go to Hogwarts? Will Pugsley & Wednesday, too? Will he still get in with Ron & Hermione? I can hardly wait!

Hehe strike two.
I hope for good ol' Dumbles that there is no strike three :)

If I understand the timeline for this story and the Harry Potter series correctly, the court case should be happening in 1985. DNA testing was in it's infancy then, and would not have been available for something like this. I don't think the first court cases with it were until 1986 or so, but a quick search on the web seems to be conflicting between '85 or '86. In either case, it was clear that it was only used to either prove paternity or in rape cases, and only sparingly. In addition, most people wouldn't have known what "DNA analysis" was back then. Heck, back when I learned about it in my freshman year of high school, a lot of the adults asked me what exactly it was.
This seems to be a common problem of people rewriting a series with an alternative history and using modern things that weren't available in the time they are placing the story. Be mindful of the times & technology level when dealing with the past.

Woops! I'll have to go back and fix that ... I try to avoid anachronisms, but sometimes something slips past. Thanks.

And once again Albus Dumbledore proves that intelligence and common sense do not always peacefully coexist... sad really.

hahahaha. :) I particularly *love* that last line. ;) hehhehe. Way to go, Gomez. And I loved that the three children are all magical; how fun. Since Pugsley is a year older, will he go off to magical school by himself, or will Morticia and Gomez give him the option to continue at private school for a year and then go with Harry and Wednesday, so they all go together? That'd be interesting. ;) hehehe. Well, must run. Great chapter; loved it. Thanks for sharing!
Ishtar replied:
Pugsley's birthday is in September, close to Hermione's. Harry's birthday is the following July, and Wednesday's is just afterward, in August. This means that all three of them are in the same year as far as Hogwarts is concerned. Pugsley was a year ahead in regular school because the cutoff is in December.

Is it OK to put in a second comment? From the pre-NaNo snippet I had just assumed you were going to put them in Slytherin. But a comment you made earlier makes me think it may be up in the air. This Harry, with the emphasis on family loyalty, might do well in Hufflepuff. And I wonder what the Addam's influence would do to the Hufflepuffs.
One other thing - you have Wednesday emphasizing on plants. I just want to point remind you that in the TV show she raised throroughbred spiders (Gomez was quite proud).
Again, love the story.

Ishtar replied:
I had forgotten about the spiders. It's been years since I saw the show on TV and I haven't had a chance to watch all the episodes on the DVD of the first season that just came out. I may have to take time to do some more research. :D
I've established Harry as liking the critters, so he'd probably be raising the spiders, given his fascination with the spiders in The Hobbit. Maybe Wednesday could specialize in carnivorous plants?

This is one of the most orignal and most enjoyable fics I have ever read. Please, continue to keep up the good work.

Ahh, what a way for Dumbledore to fall.
I love november. So many more regular updates. God bless this month and the people who do their writing. Now I just have to establish my own novel writing month and persuade poor stuggleing writers to writer for two months solid a year! Mwhahaha!

As Bugs Bunny might have said, 'Dumbles just don't know to quite, do he?'

Lots of good laughs! I loved:
> "Okay, I forget. Am I the good twin or the evil one?"
> except for the lack of smoke alarms in the home.
> "You're first Addams wizard since, well, since him!" he said, pointing at Harry. - So Gomez!
I love this. I wait expectantly for the next installment, and thank you greatly for sharing this with us.

Hi.
Althoug I know nothing about the Addams Family (except what I found on wikipedia), I find this story to be very interesting. It was easy enough to follow the introduction of the Addams Family, and I did get an idea of their personalities.
Good work with the whole transfer-thing. I thought it worked great. It was also nice to see that Pertunia changed after her trip to America.
Also good work with Dumbledore. Although I can't see him as "Puppet Master #1" in canon, it was good to see manipulative Dumbledore get his comuppance.
Thanks for Writing and sharing.
Regards Ichtys
