Nicer chapter. Sounds like they will be living at Riddle manor. Nice idea if true.

I love Morticia. The way you dealt with Remus is also great. I can't wait to see how they cope at Hogwarts. There are so many questions to be answered. More please. Excellent chapter.

Well... Morticia/Gomez is going to put themself in a high position, say, booting out Malfoy and taking his place on the Hogwarts supervisors or whatever. Right? I like, continue, love Moony. When are you gonna spring Padfoot?

Hard to sell, graveyard, absentee landlord with a caretaker on site and it's haunted?

Wouldn't happen to be a certain manor house in Little Hangleton, now would it?

This is a great story. Can't wait to see what happens to Wizarding Britain when the Addams move in!

There's little I can say about this chapter, or indeed the entire story, other than to join the chorus of praise. Wonderful stuff, and I am so looking forward to seeing Hogwarts turned upside-down and inside-out by the Addamses.

I can add at least one other phrase to Lurch's repetoire, assuming that you're following TV canon -- and that I'm not sure about; my impression is that you're picking and choosing from TV, movie and cartoons, with a little of your own stuff for good measure. In any case, Ted Cassidy's Lurch was a whatever-he-was of very few words, but those included, "You rang?", "Follow me" and "Yes, Mr/Mrs Addams." Everything else was the highly expressive range of groans that you describe. B-D

I do enjoy Gomez and Morticia when they work as a team against Dumbledore or his agents. One minor quibble is that it can be hard to tell them apart when the story is uninterrupted dialogue. I know that this is a more dramatic story than the comedy of the originals (and it shows in the characters), but perhaps you could try to add a little more of Gomez's manic energy and Morticia's serenity to make them stand out from one another? Just a suggestion.

And now we wait to see what House the Addamses will be Sorted into, and how the familiar characters will cope with them. I can hardly wait, especially if it involves lots of havoc for the Junior Dung Eaters and Snivellus.

Can I venture a guess regarding their new home away from America? Riddle's Manor perhaps? That will be fun, especially when Tom returns for his father's bones.

Hrm, a new manor house, sounds a little like the Riddle home. Great work so far.

Heh. Poor Dumbledore. He's expecting to be able to have free run of Harry with the Addams in the states.

I truly pity the poor troll in the bathroom. Being beaten by several kids is bad enough.

Being turned into a pet by the Addams?

I love this story. It's so much fun. And I'm so grateful you update regularly. Thank you! Great work!

It is so nice to see someone get something over on Dumbledore. It is also nice to see McGonagal
find out that Dumbledore has not kept her up to date on everything that applies to Harry and his
upbringing and education. It will be interesting to see how Hogwarts reacts to Harry,
Wednesday and Pugsley! I'm so glad that Remus is going to be there to teach History. How the "Most reknowned school of Witchcraft and Wizardry" can justify a ghost that died 60 years ago as a competant teacher has always been
a topic of wonder on my part. That is a great line from Winston Churchill about those that don't learn from history are bound to repeat it!
It would be nice if more people would think about that in todays world. I look forward to the next chapter. This is an excellent adaptation of the Adams Family into the Harry Potter Universe! Thanks for writing. pms

Wait wait wait! That sounds an awful like the Riddle Mansion. You can't be serious?! No, he's still in Azkaban isn't he?

Ishtar replied:

*is confused*   Riddle never was in Azkaban.   He was in Albania, and at the moment, he's riding around on the back of Quirrell's head.

is it me, Or is the New Addams family home going to be located in Hangleton? Perhaps the former Riddle Mansion!? Brilliant twist there.

Renting out the home of a dark lord's parents? Oh my. I don't normally read crossovers, but you have me hooked. Lead on.

Wonderful, Perfect!

I really like the idea of werewolf reserves and I also really liked the way that you improved Remus's life.

I look forward to reading the next chapter very much.

I do hope that McGonagall gets around to whacking Dumbldore. Makes me wonder on which house you'll be sticking Wednesday, Pugsley and Harry into. Will Snape get a headache? Does this mean that Remus would be looking for other candidates for the reserve, once he gets back to England? I'm honestly surprised that the Addams doesn't have a second residence. Is Dumbldore going to get around to reading the fine print?

Ishtar replied:

Is that anything like Whack-a-Mole?   Wait and see.   Yes, Snape will have a seven-year-long migraine.   Probably, or else he'll start a new Reserve for Europe - the Black Forest would probably be a good place.   They might, it just hasn't been relevant so far.   *looks shifty* He still hasn't figured out the implications of the large print yet ...

"The house" sounds like Grimmauld. Perfect place for the Addams to live. The dark little elf will be pleased. :)

Great chapter! I'm thinking that it wouldn't take much to swing McG around to being a secret supporter.

Are they going to be leasing the Riddle house? I'm not sure what to make of that. :-)

You forgot the second d in Charles Addams in the last sentence.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

Congratulations, you're the first to comment on that.   Give yourself a cookie.  I did that on purpose (just as I did not refer to him as "Charles Felonius Addams" in that passage), and all will be revealed eventually (I've been trying to find a way to work Family history in that did not require an infodump.   I probably should have done it when Remus joined the family. *sigh*
